# Pause, remove or leave

> How to stop a teammate, and what happens to its account and your data.

## Pause a teammate

On its **Settings** tab, press **Pause it**. It stops reading messages and doing work until you press **Resume**.

## Remove a teammate

On its **Settings** tab, press **Remove**. It stops working for good and its jobs are dropped.

* **Its Delegmate data** is deleted after 30 days, so one removed by mistake can be added back at the same address before then.
* **Its Delegmate seat** stays paid until the month ends.
* **Its phone number** is given back.
* **Its Google account stays in your Workspace,** with its mail and Drive, and **still takes a Google seat**. When you're ready, open it in Google Admin to transfer its Drive and Calendar to someone, keep its address as an alias or forward its mail, then delete the user. The dashboard reminds you, with a link.

## Stop completely

Remove your teammates, and the plan ends at the end of the month in which the last one goes. Or manage your plan through **Settings**, under **Billing**.

## Download or delete your data

In **Settings**, under **General**:

* **Download all data** gives you everything Delegmate holds about your company.
* **Delete our account** asks you to type your domain to confirm. The plan ends at once, and your data is deleted within minutes.

Your teammates' Google accounts and their files stay in your Workspace, under your control. Then remove the Delegmate entry from Google Admin to withdraw its access.
